Generally divided into two categories:
Hot wedge welding machine
Working principle: Heat is transferred to the geomembrane by heating the wedge block, causing the surface of the geomembrane to melt, and then the melted parts are fused together under a certain pressure to form a weld.
Scope of application: Suitable for welding geomembranes of various thicknesses and materials, such as HDPE, LDPE, etc.
Extrusion welding machine
Working principle: Use an extruder to extrude welding rods of the same material as the geomembrane, and fuse them with the geomembrane to be welded while the welding rods melt, completing the welding process.
Scope of application: Commonly used for welding complex parts, such as internal and external corners, repair welding, etc., as well as occasions with high requirements for welding strength.
